Anthropic has expanded its Artifacts suite by launching Claude Dashboards and Claude Motion in beta. Claude Dashboards, available on paid plans, allows users to query business data using natural language. The tool connects directly to major data warehouses and platforms, including Amazon Redshift, Google BigQuery, ClickHouse, Databricks, Snowflake, and Salesforce. Instead of black-box generation, Dashboards prioritizes transparency by exposing the exact SQL query behind every chart and displaying the last refresh time. This allows data analysts to inspect joins, filters, and aggregations before sharing reports.

Claude Motion, currently in beta for Team and Enterprise plans, takes a programmatic approach to video creation. Rather than relying on a video diffusion model that generates synthetic footage or artificial people, Motion writes code to animate text, charts, shapes, and images. The output can be exported as an MP4 file, but the underlying code remains fully editable. This structure allows creators to update specific numbers or visual elements without needing to recreate the entire animation from scratch.

Both new tools are designed to fit into existing professional workflows. Users can hand off Claude Dashboards to external platforms like Amplitude, Grafana, Hex, Mixpanel, Omni, Perplexity, PostHog, or Sigma, with integrations for Looker, monday.com, and Tableau coming later. Similarly, Motion projects can be exported to Adobe tools, Descript, Runway, Luma AI, or Higgsfield. Alongside these betas, Anthropic announced that its Docs, Slides, and Design features have exited beta and are now generally available across all tiers, including the Free plan.

To support enterprise adoption, Anthropic has introduced customer-managed encryption keys for Artifacts, addressing strict corporate security requirements. While Docs, Slides, and Design will become enabled by default for Enterprise organizations on October 15, administrators must manually enable the new Dashboards and Motion betas. According to Anthropic, users have already generated more than 45 million documents, presentations, and designs using the platform's creation tools.
